On 20 April 2019 Hamdard University Bangladesh organized seminar series on “Moral Values” at Hamdard Nagor, Gazaria, Munshiganj. The key note speaker was Sheikh Shah Mohammad Wali Ullah. In the seminar, the Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md Abul Khair, Dean, Faculty of Business Administration Prof Dr Md Nasim Anzum; Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Prof Dr Mohammad Sadirul Islam, Prof Anwarul Hoque, Controller of Examinations Md. Nurul Huda, all the Heads of the Departments, Faculty members, students, officers and staff were present in the seminar.

The welcome speech was given by the Registrar Dr Md Moazzom Hossain.

Sheikh Shah Mohammad Waliullah discussed what types of morality we should have and gave relevant examples from the holy Quran and Hadith. He mentioned that in our society many incidents are happening/occurring because of not having moral values. In addition, he also said that killing an animal is totally forbidden unless there is a very pressing need of it.
