An Iftar and Doa Mahfil held at Hamdard University Bangladesh

Hamdard University Bangladesh organized an Iftar and Doa Mahfil on 03 June 2018 at its permanent campus at Hamdard City of Science, Education and Culture, Gazaria, Munshiganj-1510. The honorable Founder and Chief patron of Hamdard University Bangladesh Dr. Hakim Mohammad Yousuf  Harun  Bhuiyan was present as the Chief guest in the event and graced the occasion. The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof.  Md. Abdul Mannan PhD presided over the program while Member of the Board of Trustees Mohammad Zamal Uddin (Russell), Md.Anisul Hoque, Prof. Hakim Shiry Farhad, Lt. Colonel Mahbubul Alam Chowdhury (Retd.),  the Registrar of the University Md. Lutfur Rahman, the Controller of Examinations Md. Nurul Huda, all Deans of the Faculties along with their Faculty members, officers, students and staffs were  present.

The event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran.

The honorable Founder of the University Dr Bhuiyan expressed his sincere thanks to all concerned of the University to arrange this type of event and briefly discussed the importance of holy Ramadan for the Muslims and our duties as Muslims. He also reminded them that the focus of their activities should be humane. He urged the students that they should be enlightened people through achieving proper academic degrees. One day they will assist the society as well as the nation through their philanthropic activities, hoped Dr Bhuiyan.

In the concluding speech, the honorable Vice Chancellor of the University expressed sincere thanks to the Founder and Chief patron of the University for attending the event. He emphasized on the importance of Ramadan and its activities. Moreover, he also emphasized on the individual responsibility as a part of our religious faith.

The event ended with a special prayer wishing a long life for the Founder of the University and the prosperity of the University.
