Seminar On “Geriatric Care Needs in Bangladesh” held at Hamdard University Bangladesh 

The Faculty of Unani and Ayurvedic Medicine of Hamdard University Bangladesh organized a seminar on “Geriatric Care Needs in Bangladesh” 11 August 2018 at its permanent campus, Hamdard Nagar, Gazaria, Munshiganj. The key note speaker of the Seminar was Prof Dr. Hafiz T. A. Khan, professor of Public Health, University of West London.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof. Md. Abdul Mannan, PhD presided over the Seminar. Students and faculty members of Unani and Ayurvedic Medicine attended the Seminar. Among other dignitaries, the seminar was also attended by the Registrar Md. Lutfur Rahman, and the Controller of Examinations Md. Nurul Huda, Heads of the Departments of Unani and Ayurvedic Medicine.

The VC of the University Prof. Md. Abdul Mannan highly appreciated such kind of initiative of the Faculty of Unani and Ayurvedic Medicine. He also said that he is grateful to all the guests for attending this Seminar. He briefly discussed the importance of such kind of seminar for the students of Unani of Ayurvedic Medicine. At the end, he thanked the speaker for his valuable time and informative speech.
